The short version: your numbers stay in your browser.
What you type
Every calculation on Trend Cricket runs in your browser. Runs, overs, team names and scores are never uploaded, and the pages make no network requests with them. Copy buttons put text on your own clipboard, and Download CSV builds the file on your device.
What is saved on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device, for three things:
- your colour theme (Auto, Day or Night);
- the matches you enter in the net run rate calculator;
- the points table and points settings on the same page.
Pressing Clear on the net run rate page empties the saved matches or table. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes all three. Nothing else is stored, and the site does not use cookies.
Page views
The site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type into the calculators. There are no adverts, no other analytics and no third-party trackers.
Links to other sites
Pages link to sources such as the ICC and MCC, to our sister sites and to two services we recommend, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and nothing from this site is sent to them unless you follow a link.
